The Liquid City
A spread of illustrations for the Dubai ExpoWorld Majlis book series. "The Liquid City" by Keiichi Matsuda explores a world in which people are encumbered (or empowered) by dense augmented reality, or "hyper-reality." The swirling mass of advertisements, notifications, and embellishments can be seen as a burden, or as a way of creating simultaneous individual experiences.
